Study tour free to do all 15 tour "OPEN CITY experiences" report ①

In "SHIBUYA machibiraki 2024", we performed place of Shibuya who could not usually enter and special "OPEN CITY experience" that we could experience only for summer vacation tour. We invited public participation for all 15 tours and had you participate toward 239 people. (only 1 tour was called off because of bad weather) this time "special experience of summer vacation! As free study tour, we report design of tour only by summer vacation.

◤Workshop ... which polishes sensitivity of SHIBUYA QWS experience program - question◢
Experience-based summary: What is your "question?" The times when "answer" is found immediately if we search information to want to know. It may be said that it becomes important while we live in the first place what kind of "question" you face each other in. This event is workshop having you sense SHIBUYA QWS original program "QWS karutibeshon" plowing "sensitivity of question" bodily.

At first, by four people were divided into group and they made self-introduction sheet and, in workshop, announced. Afterwards, we make art of "question" on paper and post on wall surface. Everybody stuck Post-it on curious question and expressed each thought. About curious question, we talked led by communicator for each group and announced summary of group to circular board last. Noticing with "question" varied and seems to have become very stimulating workshop.





Shooting cooperation: SHIBUYA QWS (Shibuya cues)

◤We mend bookstore only for Shibuya child bookstore - oneself! ...◢
Experience-based summary: We experience bookstore at share type bookstore of Shibuya. We each bring own favorite book and mend bookstore only for oneself!

Three primary schoolchild second graders during summer vacation participated and held "Shibuya child bookstore" only in 1st. We made POP to explain store's name and product and arranged book and accessories which we brought in bookshelf and made bookstore only for oneself. Various products which were full of feeling including key ring and chou chou made in handmade picture book and round fan, puratchikku lined up. In the scene that waited on customers, the beginning was tense, but we called in in big voice when getting used, and pretty figure was actually seen. As it was pleasant to have been able to sell children from making by oneself, it looked like parents enjoyed figure which children worked on, too.

◤Drone classroom to enjoy in parent and child summer vacation◢
Experience-based summary: Please actually experience flight, operation in parent and child using small drone while learning "structure of drone" "future image that drone plays an active part in society". In addition, you can enjoy sweets only in hotel and cold drink.

All parent and child who participated were the first drone experiences. At first, we actually challenged operation after having learned performance of drone in lecture. As aim passes through three rings in turn, children learn immediately; accomplishment. On the other hand, adults seem to have had a hard fight. Dessert and drink were offered after the experience in the other venue, and children enjoyed at the end of smile.

◤nimachibiraki coverage tour ... same as DJ experience - Shibuya University Network on radio of Shibuya◢
Experience-based summary: We experience DJ in community radio station of Shibuya. After having participated in Shibuya machibiraki coverage tour with seminar life of NPO corporation Shibuya University Network, there is usually DJ experience in studio of radio which cannot enter.

At first, it is start from, "well, kids come visit". With the staff of NPO corporation Shibuya University Network, tour to discover charm of town was carried out visiting around Shibuya Station. Children caught town in original viewpoint and were able to get zukio where adults were going to be new in the power of observation.
After the tour, we challenged radio personality in studio of "radio of Shibuya". Children conveyed thing which they found on self-introduction and tour and thing that they felt to listener in cheerful voice. Strain was founded in expression of children who appeared on radio, too, but was full of sense of accomplishment at the same time.

◤Is hard to come home; person experience & area disposal of goods ground (ESSA) visit tour◢
Experience-based summary: In Shibuya Fukura's is hard to come home; person experience (tent setting, tasting party & souvenir take-out) and local disposal of goods ground (ESSA) visit. We can enter experience that we cannot usually experience and place not to be able to enter.

After having usually observed the roof that could not enter, it was hard to finally come home, and, as special opportunity, person experience began. We moved to the second floor under the ground and we actually put tent and, in response to explanation from the staff, observed emergency restroom and performed sampling of emergency rations. Through these experiences, we were able to acquire practical knowledge helpful in case anything happens. In addition, we learned which facilities we should evacuate to when disaster actually occurred about the acceptable number of people of each facility. In this way, it seems to have become one of the reliable materials of heart at the time of disaster. By briefing session, active question was sent by participant, and understanding for Shibuya Fukura's deepened, too.

 

◤We will know job of JR Shibuya Station - station employee◢
Experience-based summary: Let's experience job of station employee at JR Shibuya Station where the new south wicket was replaced with a new one. We can take a ceremonial photograph in white uniform of stationmaster.

As it was said, "let's experience job of station employee!", at first, learned in quiz format about duties contents of station employee who worked at JR Shibuya Station and thing that we usually valued happily. Afterwards, we usually observed the backside of automatic ticket machine which could not enter and experienced appliance to use in duties.

Finally children who changed into their white uniform of stationmaster took a ceremonial photograph with exchanging business cards with stationmaster. He/she looked very happy, and parent and child who participated seem to have been time when this experience was valuable.

◤CIVIC CANVAS- CREATORS WORKSHOP -◢
Experience-based summary: We participate in workshop by lecturer playing an active part in digital creative domain and can announce your work in the media facade of Shibuya Sakura Stage born newly.

We held workshop for six hours. At first, we received lecture by lecturer and created work which showed in the media facade of Shibuya Sakura Stage by each person afterwards.
When own work was actually shown, participant showed expression with sense of accomplishment and was pleased with figure which passerby saw very much. Each individuality shined, and lecturer appreciated work of participant with fascination, too.

 

◤Biotope observation play society of the Shibuya River◢
Experience-based summary: We observe biotope of the bank of the Shibuya River and challenge the making of small biotope with everybody who gathered.

Plan cooperation: Shibuya Slow Stream, Akifumi Kumai, Spiral Club

Five children participated and were divided into team by two and challenged the making of biotope. Each team placed grass and stone in box towards environment where small loach and killifish, shrimp were easy to live in and performed work to put water in. It and it joined forces together and pushed forward work while thinking about whether creature was easy to live when we made what kind of biotope, and becoming feeling of creature. Impression of children who participated was very impressive. Opinion "that it was fun that it is in feeling of creature when biotope makes" that "we are glad when grass which we planted floats in the Shibuya River today" that "people thought that they become livable when creature becomes easy to live" is put, and it can call that it was valuable experience for them.
