All 15 tour "OPEN CITY experiences" report ③ roof tour, guided tour

In "SHIBUYA machibiraki 2024", we performed place of Shibuya who could not usually enter and special "OPEN CITY experience" that we could experience only for summer vacation tour. We invited public participation for all 15 tours and had you participate toward 239 people. (only 1 tour was called off because of bad weather) this time "the special roof experience! With the roof tour of Shibuya "the special town only of here walk! We send design of guided tour.

◤Shibuya Sakura Stage superb view, exquisite sweets experience◢
From the roof of Shibuya Sakura Stage which cannot usually enter, we can overlook Shibuya and cityscape of Tokyo. You can enjoy sweets in the 38th-floor restaurant STEREO, too.

After participant gathers on the third floor, change escalator and exclusive elevator; to the 38th floor. Direction of the dark raised a feeling of expectation. We dropped in once in STEREO shop and held camera while everybody admired superb view of Shibuya to see from window.
To the roof after explanation of instructions using emergency staircase on the 39th floor. In the roof, there was explanation such as crane and heliport for window cleaning, outdoor unit for huge air-conditioner from person in charge of disaster prevention. We enjoyed 360-degree superb view while walking on rail of crane for cleaning. Airplane was able to experience powerful scene via right above, too.
After the roof experience for approximately 20 minutes, we moved to the 38th-floor stereo again and enjoyed exquisite sweets. We thoroughly enjoyed soft drink and parfait using seasonal fruit (peach) while watching scenery of Shibuya.






◤Attractive discovery tour of Shibuya that we looked at from foreigner◢
Experience-based summary: Mali and millimeters of tourist information center "shibuya-san" leader show around the town of Shibuya in foreign viewpoint. Let's go around shop and spot where are popular among Dogenzaka, foreigners including depths Shibuya together. Can you discover charm of new Shibuya?

Many participants were interested in event to search for Shibuya in viewpoint of foreigner and participated. We left Dogenzaka and, through residential area of Bunka-mura and Shoto, introduced cafe and secondhand bookstore of back Shibuya, 16 spots including Yoyogi Fukamachi minipark restroom.
Miriam from Germany and Maria from Italy guide recommended place each. By quiz of Maria on the way, surprising fact that there were more annual coffee intakes of German people than beer and water was shared.
Participants enjoyed walk of about two hours while enjoying conversation with two people of guide and other participants. Finally we changed business card and contact information between participants after the dissolution at Shibuya free intersection and swelled as cross-cultural place of exchange.

◤Holding special in Shibuya! "Today's sake" experience◢
Experience-based summary: As special plan of the 90th anniversary of Tokyu Department Store founding, we hold special event of "today's sake" in Shibuya! "Today's sake" is specialty store providing 180 ml of sake "to be just right thoroughly", and to be able to enjoy with 1 go bottle. As SHIBUYA machibiraki 2024 plan, two days-limited "today's sake" experience event was held this time in tourist information center "shibuya-san" in 1F of Shibuya Fukura's.
Only as for the brand that sake recommended to preference of customer is correct for meal while there is all individuality. We learned deep knowledge by talk by sake sommelier and were able to find correct one to oneself while sampling sake selected carefully from each places of the whole country. This event became very valuable experience for many people.
