We win the City Planning Institute of Japan prize from an academic society plan design prize in 2023

5 people including Shibuya Area Management Association won "2023 City Planning Institute of Japan prize from an academic society plan design prize" from the nonprofit foundation City Planning Institute of Japan.

Plan design prize intends for remarkable thing which we contributed to for progress, development of city planning with recent work about plan, design, business about city planning.

Receiving a prize object was approach that "prepared system, the system, structure which performed city planning function and the urban space area management continually for cooperating" in around Shibuya Station area, and, in addition, plural railway companies, business, operator of large size commercial facilities, hometown area self-government organization, city planning by cooperation of the various, complicated main constituents including area management activities in "social innovation week" when administration planned "signature project" that cooperated and industry increase as Shibuya area and achievement of the area management were evaluated in characteristic city planning to around Shibuya Station space.

We feel very honored that we won such an authoritative prize.

We offer my gratitude for many people concerned with area management activities around Shibuya Station and want to share together this joy not to consider until now.

We Shibuya station square Eli amateur screw mantle raised vision to "increase people who thought Shibuya that world's best" since establishment of 2015 and we were alone and aimed at it being in town which could think that Shibuya was world's best place to many people.

According to the survey by Tokyo of 2022, Shibuya became the first place at visit rate of foreign tourist who visited Tokyo. The town of Shibuya greatly attracts attention in this way, and it is happy at all that it was in town which many people visit from all over the world.

In Shibuya, large-scale redevelopment once in 100 years is advancing now.

We add to in-service start of the south exit free passage, Shibuya AXSH, the opening of business of new facilities such as Shibuya cherry blossoms stage, and the opening of business of JR new south wicket waits, and excursion characteristics in front of Shibuya Station improve markedly and are connected with the outskirts area and are one year to greatly change this year.
