Artist open call for participants platform "TYPELESS_Vol.2" notice work production artist is decided!

　The Shibuya station square area management (the following, our corporation) enforced artist open call for participants platform "TYPELESS" in 2023 on the stage of public clearance in front of Shibuya Station.

This project does public space around Shibuya Station that large-scale redevelopment once in 100 years goes ahead through wealthily from all over the redevelopment period, and realize "town which you please mind of people and want to walk". In addition, we aim at developing Shibuya as platform where culture art and society gather by providing place where artists can challenge, and exposing spotlight to new talent.

Secondary to "TYPELESS Vol.1" which won favorable reception in last year, we carry out general open call for participants of artist curator this year as "TYPELESS Vol.2". After fair examination, artist was decided.

It is work public plan in around the middle of February, 2025. (we may be changed without notice on Pub. Date.)

Motoki Shiozawa

It was born in 1992. We come under an influence of Japanese painting, candy Komi, movie and we let you quote technique and fuse with each concept and produce work. We draw state of OFF of people struggling as decal of the modern society every day.

With this product, we expressed even resonance and repulsion to be born from strength and freedom, there where individuality of a variety of people who came and went had the town of Shibuya in one. In addition to the working that individual voluntary behaviors acted on between conflict, we were pregnant with energy that screened existence moarukarakosono, new thing more than predictions were born in work.

We are sincerely glad of my work in it being of Shibuya that many memories were jam-packed to this day from the childhood period. We raise this work under the theme of "diversity" and focus on strength and freedom of a variety of people coming and going in Shibuya and repulsion and resonance that individuality brings about. If everybody can take in such an energy through this work even a little, we are glad.
