The sixth Shibuya Bon festival dance 2025 was held!

We built colorful oar (tower) in front of SHIBUYA109, and, on Saturday, August 2, "the sixth Shibuya Bon festival dance" was held in beautiful weather of typhoon pass!

We held Shibuya Bon festival dance under the theme of "we make place of exchange of people of the town of Shibuya and people who came to Shibuya" from 2017, and holding was anxious about in the sixth, typhoon, but this time was held in good weather that refreshing wind blew to safely. Many visitors enjoyed Bon festival dance that taste of the sum was felt regardless of various places dressed in yukata and any people regardless of age or sex, nationality including foreign tourist.

Natsuko Godai of group of 3 band "BEGIN" and enka ballad singer from Ishigaki-shi, Okinawa on that day is surprise cast. "Shibuya 100 years total dance" and representative music that we showed for the first time by the festival showed "treasure of islander" last year, and song of Godai increased BEGIN, and venue became prosperous with large cheers of the audience very much.

In addition, Rick buranjiadi of the mayor, Haley Cheney kane of last year Miss Hawaii went on the platform as guest from Honolulu city which concluded sister city agreement with Shibuya-ku last year on that day. We emphasized friendly relationship of both cities and we showed Fra and attached color to main festival.
